Tullibardine stands in Blackford, at the edge of the Ochil Hills in Perthshire. The village has a long history of brewing and is also known for its spring water. The present distillery was built in 1949 on the site of an older brewery.
The distillery was mothballed in the mid-1990s and brought back into production in 2003 by a group of private investors. Since 2011 it has belonged to the French family company Picard Vins & Spiritueux, whose roots in Burgundy show in some of the cask choices.
The spirit is unpeated, and the house style leans towards fruit, malt and sweetness. In the official range, Sovereign is the bourbon-cask entry point, while the 225 Sauternes, 228 Burgundy and 500 Sherry are finished in casks whose size in litres gives each bottling its name. Older official releases such as the 25 Year Old and vintage bottlings appear too.
Tullibardine is also regularly bottled by independents. In our catalogue you will find single casks and small batches from Signatory Vintage, Douglas Laing, Hunter Laing, Murray McDavid, That Boutique-y Whisky Company, Master of Malt and The Vintage Malt Whisky Company, along with Scotch Malt Whisky Society cask 28.

About whiskies
Whisky (or whiskey) is a distilled alcoholic beverage made from fermented grain mash. Various grains are used including barley, corn, rye, and wheat. Whisky is typically aged in wooden casks, which gives it its distinctive color and complex flavor profile.
Each bottling represents a unique expression with specific characteristics like age, cask type, and alcohol strength.
