Glendullan stands in Dufftown, the Speyside town known for its cluster of distilleries. It was built in the late 1890s and today belongs to Diageo. In the early 1970s a new, larger distillery was built next to the original, and for some years the two worked side by side before the old one closed.
Most of what Glendullan makes goes into blends, so single malt bottlings are less common than for some of its neighbours. The house style is light, grassy and fruity, an easygoing Speyside malt that suits ex-bourbon casks and also takes well to sherry.
Officially the distillery is best known through The Singleton of Glendullan, sold mainly in North America, with the 12 Year Old as the core bottling. Older official releases also turn up, such as the Centenary 16 Year Old and a Manager's Dram 18 Year Old from a sherry cask, both of interest to collectors.
Glendullan is widely bottled by independent bottlers. In our catalogue you will find it from Gordon & MacPhail, Signatory Vintage (including its Cask Strength Collection), Douglas Laing (Old Malt Cask and Provenance single casks), That Boutique-y Whisky Company, James Eadie, Darkness and others, often at younger ages and single cask strength.

About whiskies
Whisky (or whiskey) is a distilled alcoholic beverage made from fermented grain mash. Various grains are used including barley, corn, rye, and wheat. Whisky is typically aged in wooden casks, which gives it its distinctive color and complex flavor profile.
Each bottling represents a unique expression with specific characteristics like age, cask type, and alcohol strength.
