Romeo y Julieta is one of the best known names in Cuban cigars. The brand dates from the late nineteenth century and takes its name from Shakespeare's play. It is closely linked with Winston Churchill, whose name was given to its large Churchill format.
These are cigars, not whisky, but many whisky drinkers enjoy them together. The sizes a buyer meets here run from the small Petit Royales and Mille Fleurs to the Petit Churchill, Short Churchill, Wide Churchill and the full Churchill, as well as the No. 2 and Romeo No. 3. Most come in individual tubes, which helps keep them fresh.
Cuban Romeo y Julieta cigars are marketed through Habanos S.A. Cigars under the same name are also made in the Dominican Republic for the United States market, so it is worth checking the origin when comparing prices.
