That Boutique-y Whisky Company was launched in 2012 by the people behind the online retailer Master of Malt, part of Atom Brands. It quickly became known for its illustrated labels, each a cartoon full of in-jokes about the distillery or the people behind the whisky.
The company buys casks and parcels of whisky from distilleries and releases them in small batches. Each label gives a batch number and the number of bottles, and the age statement where there is one, which is why the ranges in our catalogue run from 3 Year Old to 25 Year Old.
Its reach goes well beyond Scotland. Alongside Scotch single malts from distilleries such as Clynelish, Tobermory, Bruichladdich, Strathmill and Benrinnes, and grain from Invergordon, it bottles whisky from Ireland, the United States, Japan, Taiwan and many other countries, and blends such as its World Whisky Blend.
Because the batches are small, individual releases come and go quickly, and the same distillery may appear in several batches of different ages.
