Label 5

Label 5 is a blended Scotch whisky owned by La Martiniquaise, a French drinks group. It is one of the best known Scotch blends in France and is sold in many other countries, usually at an accessible price.

The group blends and bottles its Scotch at its own site in Scotland, which also includes a grain distillery. La Martiniquaise also owns the Glen Moray single malt distillery in Speyside, which gives the group its own source of malt whisky alongside grain.

The style is a light, easy blend meant for mixing or relaxed sipping. Buyers will mostly meet the standard Label 5 Scotch Whisky in a range of sizes, from the Whisky mini to the Whisky Magnum. The Bourbon Barrel Single Grain is a grain whisky aged in ex-bourbon casks, a softer and sweeter alternative to the blend.
