Wilson & Morgan

Wilson & Morgan is an independent bottler based in the Veneto region of northern Italy, founded by Fabio Rossi in the early 1990s. In 2022 it marked its 30th anniversary, which shows in our catalogue as the 30th Anniversary bottlings.

As an independent bottler it does not distill. It selects casks of Scotch whisky from distilleries and bottles them under its own label, mainly in its Barrel Selection. Bottlings are labelled with the distillery, the vintage and the year of bottling, so a buyer can tell how long the whisky spent in wood. Some releases are finished in a second type of cask, and the label says so.

The distilleries in our catalogue span Scotland: Caol Ila on Islay, Isle of Jura, Speyside names such as Dailuaine, Benrinnes, Linkwood, Glenrothes and Glenallachie, and Ardmore in the Highlands. Ages run from young vintages of the 2010s to 25 and 30 year old whiskies distilled in the 1990s.

Some bottlings carry a name instead of a distillery, such as Westport and Beathan. This is a common practice when the producing distillery does not allow its name on an independent label, so check the description for what is inside.
