Soplica

Soplica is a long-established Polish spirits brand, produced in Białystok in north-eastern Poland. It is widely sold across Poland and in Polish shops abroad.

The range is made up mostly of flavoured vodkas at a lower strength than standard vodka, in the spirit of traditional Polish fruit liqueurs. Buyers will meet Wisniowa (cherry), Orzech Laskowy (hazelnut), Sliwkowa (plum), Truskawkowa (strawberry), Czarna Porzeczka (blackcurrant), Cytryna Pigwa (lemon and quince), Kawowa (coffee) and newer flavours such as Ananas Pomerancza and Arbuz Z Mieta. Staropolska is a more traditional style in the range.

For whisky buyers it is worth noting that none of these are whiskies: they are sweet, flavoured vodka drinks, usually served chilled or in mixed drinks.
