Woven is a young Scotch whisky blender based in Leith, Edinburgh. It does not run a distillery: it buys mature whiskies from distilleries around Scotland and blends them itself.
The focus is on modern blended Scotch made in small batches, mixing malt and grain whiskies of different styles and cask types. Woven is open about what goes into its blends, which suits buyers curious about how a blend is built.
The Experience series is a run of numbered limited blends, each with its own recipe and often its own name, such as Experience N.2 The Smiling, N.3 Modern Nostalgia and N.22 Pastures New. Alongside these sit regular blends such as Superblend and Hemispheres.
