Suntory Whisky

Suntory is the Japanese drinks company that built Japan's first malt whisky distillery, Yamazaki, near Kyoto in the 1920s. It later added Hakushu in the forests of Yamanashi and the Chita grain distillery, and today its whisky business is part of Suntory Global Spirits, which also owns Scotch distilleries such as Bowmore and Laphroaig.

Suntory bottles its own whisky rather than buying in casks from others in the usual independent bottler way. Its best known blends are sold under the Hibiki name, which in our catalogue includes the limited Blossom Harmony and the 21 years old. Buyers will also find simpler blended whiskies and Suntory World Whisky, a blend that brings together whisky from several countries.
