About Scapegrace
Scapegrace is a New Zealand distiller from Central Otago, first known for its gin and now for single malt releases such as Vanguard, Anthem and the Revenant limited editions.

Scapegrace began in New Zealand in the mid-2010s and made its name first with gin. It has since built a distillery in Central Otago, in the south of the South Island, and moved into single malt whisky.
The whisky is sold as New Zealand single malt. The core bottlings a buyer meets are Vanguard and Anthem. Alongside them come limited releases such as Fortuna, Fortitude, Dimension, Rise Limited Release I and Revenant Limited Release III.
Cask choice plays a large part in the range. Ephemeral is a single cask matured in a New Zealand Pinot Noir cask, a nod to the wine country around the distillery. As a young producer, Scapegrace releases in small batches, so individual editions can be hard to find once sold out.
