Heaven Hill

Heaven Hill was founded in Bardstown, Kentucky, in 1935, just after Prohibition, by the Shapira brothers with the help of distiller Joseph L. Beam. It has stayed in family hands ever since and has grown into one of the largest independent American whiskey companies. After a fire destroyed its Bardstown distillery in 1996, it bought the Bernheim distillery in Louisville, where most of its whiskey has been made since.

The company makes bourbon, rye and wheat whiskey and ages it in large warehouses around Bardstown. Besides well-known brands such as Evan Williams and Elijah Craig, it bottles whiskey under the Heaven Hill name, including the 7 Year Old Bottled in Bond.

For collectors, the yearly Parker's Heritage Collection, named after long-serving master distiller Parker Beam, offers one-off releases of different styles and ages. The Heritage Collection brings older aged statements, such as a 19 year old wheat whiskey, and Grain to Glass presents bourbon and rye from a single harvest. Single casks also appear from independent bottlers, such as the Heroes & Heretics and Fragrant Drops bottlings in our catalogue.
