This is not a single producer. Undisclosed is where we gather bottles whose distillery is deliberately left unnamed, usually because the distillery owner does not allow its name to be used by others, or because the bottler prefers to keep it secret.

Most of these whiskies come from independent bottlers, who buy casks and release them under a regional description instead of a distillery name. In our catalogue you will find bottlings from names such as Signatory (for The Whisky Exchange), Whisky Sponge, Thompson Bros, Gleann Mor, Decadent Drams, Whisky Jury and the Chieftain's range.

The label still tells you a good deal: the region, often the vintage and age, and sometimes the cask type. Many enthusiasts enjoy guessing the source from these clues, and secret bottlings can offer older whisky at a lower price than the named equivalent.

Because each bottle comes from a different bottler, the choices on strength, filtration and colouring vary from release to release. Check the details of each bottling rather than assuming a house style.
