Caledonian, often called the Cally, was a grain whisky distillery in the Haymarket area of Edinburgh, founded in 1855. It grew into one of the larger grain distilleries in Scotland and was closed in 1988. Its tall chimney still stands among the buildings that have since been converted to housing. Note that it is a Lowland distillery, not a Speyside one.

Like other grain distilleries it used continuous Coffey stills, producing a lighter spirit than malt distilleries do. After decades in cask, the surviving stock tends to show soft vanilla, toffee and tropical fruit notes from the wood.

Because the distillery is long closed, almost everything a buyer finds is old and from single casks. Independent bottlers account for most of them: Douglas Laing in its Xtra Old Particular range, Hunter Laing in The Sovereign, Signatory Vintage, Duncan Taylor in Rare Auld, and That Boutique-y Whisky Company and Master of Malt. Official releases are rare; the best known is The Cally 40 Year Old, released as part of Diageo's Special Releases.
