Hyde is an Irish whiskey brand from Clonakilty in West Cork, run by the Hyde family. It is named after Douglas Hyde, the first President of Ireland. That link explains range names such as President's Cask and The Áras Cask, a nod to Áras an Uachtaráin, the President's residence.
