Dalva is a Port brand from Portugal, made by a house whose lodges sit in Vila Nova de Gaia, across the Douro river from Porto. It is a fortified wine producer rather than a whisky maker, and appears in our catalogue alongside other spirits and wines that whisky buyers often collect.

The house is best known for its Colheitas: tawny Ports from a single harvest, aged for many years in wooden casks before bottling. Our catalogue lists vintages such as 1982, 1985, 1990, 1994 and 1999, along with older Limited Edition releases from 1934 and 1950.

Dalva is also known for its Golden White Colheita, a long-aged white Port, here from the 1989 harvest. The everyday range covers Ruby, White and Rose Port, and there is also an Aguardente Vinica Velhissima, an old Portuguese grape brandy.
