Auchroisk
Auchroisk is a Diageo malt distillery in Speyside, built in the 1970s mainly to supply blends such as J&B. Official bottlings are rare, so most of its malt reaches buyers through independent bottlers.

Auchroisk lies near Mulben in Speyside, between Keith and Rothes. It was built in the early 1970s by Justerini & Brooks, the company behind the J&B blend, and is now part of Diageo. Its modern buildings make it one of the younger working distilleries in the region.
The distillery was sited for its water from a local spring known as Dorie's Well. Its spirit is unpeated and generally light to medium in body, with malty, nutty and fruity notes, and it was made first of all to fill blends.
Official single malts have been occasional: it was once sold as The Singleton of Auchroisk, and Diageo has issued a 10 Year Old in its Flora and Fauna series and some special releases. For most buyers, though, Auchroisk means independent bottlings, often single casks at a fair price.
In our catalogue you will meet Hunter Laing's Old Malt Cask and First Editions, Gordon & MacPhail's Connoisseurs Choice, Signatory Vintage's Cask Strength Collection, Langside's Hepburn's Choice, That Boutique-y Whisky Company, James Eadie, Berry Bros. & Rudd and Douglas Laing, plus single casks such as a rye cask finish in the Rare Cask Series.

About whiskies
Whisky (or whiskey) is a distilled alcoholic beverage made from fermented grain mash. Various grains are used including barley, corn, rye, and wheat. Whisky is typically aged in wooden casks, which gives it its distinctive color and complex flavor profile.
Each bottling represents a unique expression with specific characteristics like age, cask type, and alcohol strength.
