Two Stacks is a young Irish whiskey brand that works as a blender and bonder. Rather than distilling everything itself, it buys new and matured whiskey from established Irish distilleries and blends, matures and finishes it.
The style leans towards experiment. Many releases are finished in unusual casks, from fruit brandy casks to ice wine casks, and the team is known for blends that mix grain, malt and pot still whiskey. It also drew attention for selling whiskey in cans.
Ranges a buyer will meet include the blends The First Cut, The Blender's Cut and Smoke & Mirrors, the Double Barrel single malt and single pot still, and the Fruit Drops series with apricot, apple and blackberry brandy cask finishes. There are also limited releases such as a 6 year old single malt finished in red ice wine casks, Berry'd Treasure, Pillars of Creation and an Irish rye made with Boann.
